Double-Decker Bus X Regent Taipei|Afternoon Tea & Dinner Packages
If you want to experience the bustling Taipei city, there’s now an easier and more enjoyable way than walking: the double-decker dining bus! In collaboration with Regent Taipei, the bus offers a unique afternoon tea and dinner experience. Passengers can enjoy gourmet food and beautiful scenery while touring Taipei’s streets.
This double-decker bus has a transparent roof, allowing you to take in the views above. The route mainly covers the bustling Xinyi and East District areas, including notable landmarks such as Tao Zhu Yin Yuan, Taipei 101, Nan Shan Plaza, Breeze Xinyi, Apple Flagship Store, Xinyi A13, Vieshow Cinemas, Xinyi Shopping District, and East District Shopping Area.
As for the food, Regent Taipei offers three meal package options: lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The menu and ticket prices vary depending on the chosen package. For me, I think this experience feels like a little escape from the ordinary. Plus, the cosy yet stylish ambiance makes it a great option for couples, friends, or even solo travelers wanting a unique way to see the city.
Feel free to check out the detailed menus and prices here. I also suggest you guys to book in advance to secure your spot. Trust me, this is more than just a meal—it’s a memory you’ll take home with you.

Maokong Scenic Restaurant | Sih Ye (Si Ye’s Shop) | Taipei Zoo Station
Located in Maokong, “Sih Ye” is a great place to enjoy delicious food while taking in the stunning mountain and forest views. The restaurant has created a comfortable dining environment with a luxurious palace-style decor, allowing guests to experience a touch of ancient elegance. All seating is in private booths, providing a more intimate space. Additionally, their dishes often incorporate tea, and their signature Tie-Guan-Yin Chicken Hotpot is a must-try.
If you’re looking for a more casual atmosphere, you can visit “Mao Lan,” which is located upstairs from “Sih Ye.” Both restaurants are part of the same group, and the menu is the same. The difference lies in their decor and ambiance. “Mao Lan” offers an outdoor setting that feels more relaxed, making it ideal for enjoying drinks while admiring the views. Both restaurants offer a distant view of Taipei 101, but not all seats have this view. Be sure to confirm with the restaurant whether your reservation is for a table facing Taipei.
If you plan to visit, you can purchase a coupon (500 NTD voucher with a 20% discount) in advance. However, if you use a coupon, you need to call ahead and inform them that you are using a discount voucher.
